This week we have been painting and talking about the different patterns that animals can have. We used small brushes to practise following a variety of shapes and lines. This also helps to strengthen our grasp when holding mark-making materials and support our control skills.

We would like to welcome all of our new children and their families who have started with us at Kingsclere Pre-School this week. We would also like to acknowledge our butterfly children who left us in the summer and wish them all the best as they start their new journey in Reception.

We cannot wait to join all of our children on their learning journey through the Early Years. We are currently thinking about the topic 'In the Wild,' and have lots of exciting things planned throughout the year so keep checking in.

We currently have spaces available for 2, 3 and 4 year olds. Please send us an email at [email protected] to receive further information.

We hope everyone is enjoying their summer holidays so far and is keeping cool 😎

Just a reminder, (or something new for those who don't know about it) that there is group of us that meet on Monday nights at the Fieldgate Centre 7:30-8:30pm to play non-competitive Netball. We are looking for more members to join our Netball community so it that sounds like it could be you- please get in touch 🏐

For more information leave a comment on this post, contact the number on the poster, join the Kingsclere Netball Club page or ask around on the school playground as we have plenty of parents who play.

Thank you to everyone who bought a number for our raffle. I can now reveal the winning numbers are-

Number 30 who has won the voucher for the light show.
Number 38 who has won the boys hamper.
Number 65 who has won the girls hamper.
Number 11 who has won the toddler hamper.

All winners will be contacted by phone.

It is with great pleasure and a full sense of pride that we can finally share with you all the outcome of our recent Ofsted Inspection.

The report reflects the passion and dedication shown when supporting children's learning during their early education.

We are delighted to announce that we have been graded at the expected standard in all areas and have been given a strong standard grade for Inclusion.
