It is National Volunteer Week 2026!

The wonderful garden volunteers at Sandham Memorial Chapel completely restored the picnic table earlier in the year, taking it apart and replacing the rotten wood to ensure visitors can continue to have their picnics and tea outside with the opening of the Vintage Tea Room this week.

Many thanks to the volunteers that continue to amaze us and make this place so special.

Hampshire County Council's Countryside Service team has temporarily closed Part of Burghclere BOAT 40 to enable path improvement works to take place.

Details can be viewed on the Council's website by following the link below:

Hampshire County Council has made an Order under Section 14(1)a of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to enable resurfacing works to take place.
