Most visitors to Lincoln Cathedral walk straight past it. But tucked beneath a quiet arch lies a tomb believed to be that of Bishop Alexander the Magnificent, the man who built Newark Castle's Gatehouse nearly 900 years ago.

That’s a wrap!

Another fantastic day of hard hat tours and meeting lots of new people, with plenty of great questions too.

We’d love to run tours more regularly, but logistically it isn’t always possible depending on which contractors are on site and the time of our project team. We will be back soon though, so keep an eye out for our next tour dates!

This sold out in incredible time! Thank you to the people who booked tickets, we look forward to welcoming you next week.

For those who missed out, we will be looking to host more soon. As you can understand, it takes time to organise these tours as we need to have our site manager available and stop the work for the public to safely access the site.

In the meantime we will work to keep you updated on the progress.
