Due to staffing issues the centre will not reopen tonight but we will be back open on Monday. A reminder that on Mondays the centre opens 6.00pm - 7.15pm then staff will be doing outreach in Bilsthorpe👍

Last week before half term & the weathers improved 🌞 Young people have spent lots of time outdoors on the MUGA playing football, tennis. Also lots of exercise & fresh air out on the play trail & gym equipment throughout the week...however many ventured in to celebrate National Sandwich Week🤣🥪

Young people have been celebrating national doughnut week, getting involved in the countywide youth service Shadow lite competition, quiz's on young peoples mental health awareness week, sewing, glass painting & using lots of the outdoor space which Bilsthorpe centre are so lucky to have 👍

As of tonight Monday Youth Sessions will run differently for the rest of this term.
The Youth club will be open 6.00pm - 7.15pm
Youth Workers will then be out in outreach in Bilsthorpe 7.15pm - 8.15pm.

With all this nice weather & lighter nights we are finding young people are making the most of being outdoors playing on the play trail, gym equipment, tennis, football on the MUGA & generally chilling & chatting. Inside activities include pitta pizza making (back by popular demand) baking buns, cheese toasties, making wind chimes, HEMA beads, paper crafts, model making, darts, pool & a bit of karaoke 😁

We welcomed young people back to the centre last week after the Easter break & straight back into various activities. Pitta pizza made a return as requested by young people🍕 National Tea Day was celebrated this week with some fruit tea taste testing winner was Cranberry & Raspberry👍Young people enjoyed the new dart board, pool balls & have also been great at doing the YS satisfaction surveys & we continue to update membership forms😀A member has made a holder for the Wii controllers which is fantastic🎮The live running picture calendar board is progressing fantastically...Well done everyone😁
