This week, our Premier League Primary Stars Mixed Regional took place, with Coddington Primary earning their spot to represent Nottingham Forest at the national tournament at Wolves! 🏆

Girls’ Football Team – Regional Finals Update

Today our girls proudly represented Nottingham Forest in the Primary Schools Regional Final over in Chesterfield — and what a day they had!

The morning brought a series of tight, fast‑paced 10‑minute games. The girls battled brilliantly through a tough set of fixtures, which included narrow losses to Derby County and Notts County and hard‑fought draws against Chesterfield Town, Mansfield Town, and Leicester City- with Notts County and Leicester eventually finishing 1st and 2nd overall, it shows just how strong our side of the draw was.

In the afternoon, the girls faced Sheffield United in the Plate Playoff. Despite dominating much of the game, they were undone by the only goal — very much against the run of play.

Alongside the football, the girls enjoyed some unforgettable experiences including a photo with the Premier League Trophy and meeting former England international Shelley Jackson as well as sunshine all day to top it off!

They represented the school with determination, teamwork, and smiles throughout. We’re incredibly proud of them.

Well done, girls!

❄️ It’s the day of our Winter Wonderland Christmas Fair which will take place at Coddington Primary School between 5.30-7.30pm. ❄️

Lots of stalls and games, chocolate tombolas, a huge raffle, an indoor bouncy castle(!), the choir will be entertaining us and stories with Santa are also available!

After the shopping and games, why not enjoy a hot pulled pork cobs with stuffing and apple sauce! Hot chocolates will also be available.

Thank you to all involved, especially Friends of Coddington School.

🎄🎄 A lovely way to spend a Sunday! 🎄🎄

This event is run by Friends of Coddington School and funds raised will support the pupils at Coddington C of E School.

You will be creating a lovely bespoke Christmas Wreath guided by award winning florist Jade Loftus. All items will be provided to make the wreath however if there is anything special you wish to include then please bring this along with you.

We do suggest, if possible, you bring along gardening gloves to protect your hands and your own scissors or secateurs with you (we will have limited ones available).

This year, we’re offering two sessions:
Morning session – only a couple of places left!
Afternoon session – more availability
