Friends of Newark Castle and Victorian Gardens

Friends of Newark Castle and Victorian Gardens Previous successful projects have included the Knights Templar display and the Lady Manners room exhibits.

The Friends of Newark Castle and Victorian Gardens is a group of like-minded volunteers working together with Newark and Sherwood Disctric Council to promote and enhance the wonderful castle at the heart of Newark. The friends are involved in fundraising, applying for grants and planning for the future, working with with site owner Newark and Sherwood District Council to improve the castle and its grounds. We are currently supporting the district council on its ambitious, multi-million-pound Gatehouse restoration project.
