🌟 Diolch, thank you, to everyone who came along to our Celebration of Volunteering earlier this week.

It was an amazing showcase of the huge impact volunteering has across Neath Port Talbot, and a chance to celebrate and thank the individuals and groups that make a real difference to their communities.

With over 30 years of volunteering, she has made a lasting difference across the Upper Afan Valley, supporting people of all ages and strengthening community life.

Llongyfarchiadau to Canolfan Maerdy , winner of our Community Group of the Year Award. The hub delivers a wide range of services, from food support to youth provision, helping meet local needs and strengthen the community.

Highly commended were Neath Swimming club , supporting swimmers of all ages and abilities, and Tŷ Nant Cat Sanctuary, rescuing and caring for vulnerable animals across the local area.

Congratulations to Mair Francis DOVE Workshop , winner of our Adult Volunteer of the Year Award. Her support helps sustain vital training, wellbeing and community services for local people.

And well done to Jenny Hall, whose leadership keeps a community library running, and Sonia Aghazarian, who helps break down barriers and connect diverse communities and Chai and Chat - both highly commended.
