We’d be delighted to welcome residents to our May meeting, where councillors will be talking about a range of local topics, including all parish council-owned play areas, the new equipment and pump track planned for The Meadows, allotments, installing bollards on a verge on Minnow Way, and much more. It’s a great opportunity to hear what’s being discussed, and there are 2 sections for the public to put forward their views too. Please join us on Monday 18 May at 7.30pm in the Village Hall. See our agenda for more details.

The minutes of the meeting are published on here, usually within two weeks of the council meeting. Minutes are initially published in draft form before being approved at the next council meeting.

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that the Simpson McCreath Trust has pledged a fantastic donation of £2,500, showing extraordinary generosity and belief in our community vision. The Simpson McCreath Trust is the charitable arm of Simpsons Malt Limited, the fifth-generation, family-owned malting company which operates a site in Tivetshall St Margaret, supplying high-quality malt produced from East Anglian-grown barley to brewers across the world.
Our heartfelt thanks go out to everyone who has supported us so far—your encouragement and contributions are truly invaluable. The journey isn't over yet: there's still a golden opportunity to help shape something wonderful for local families. Join our mission and make a real difference by donating via our Crowdfunder page.

We're on the brink of something brilliant! Thanks to an incredible £15,000 grant from South Norfolk Council, we've almost achieved our fundraising target for the Meadows play area and pump track. Now, we’re just £1,500 short. Every donation, big or small, makes a real difference. If you can, please give today and help us reach our goal—together, we'll create a vibrant space for our community to enjoy for years to come.

Due to the SAM2 data collected from outside Boots, Norfolk Constabulary have been actively monitoring the area with radar equipment this week. Police presence will persist as long as statistical evidence indicates an ongoing speeding problem.
Over the last three weeks, the SAM2 sign has been deployed on Cuckoofield Lane and Norwich Road. Please adhere to the speed limits.
