It was a pleasure to go along to meet Kim Tyson and her Husband, Tony, this week, to celebrate with them that Kim has raised £10,000 for Cuan since 2020! Kim has supported our charity for many years, looking after wildlife, donating goods and supplies needed in our hospital, but when lockdown hit it became much easier for Kim to raise funds and send money across to us so that we could use the funds to purchase whatever supplies and equipment we needed. Kim advertises and sells goods which are donated to her and has a great relationship with so many people who support her - quite simply Kim says "I love to help people and animals, I don't like to see anything suffer and it is my way of giving something back and making a difference" - well Kim, you have certainly made a huge difference to the lives of so many thousands of creatures over the years here at Cuan, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness and generosity. The flowers and wine are a very small token of our appreciation. Kim has no intention of giving up her fundraising for 18 charities just yet, we think she is truly amazing! ❤⭐❤

When two ladies got in touch to offer to raise funds for Cuan by doing a "Crafterthon", our Fundraiser, Tina, went along and met up with Steph and Sue to find out more. On 11th April, both ladies crafted away all day, getting sponsorship for their efforts - making clothing, cards, jewellery, knitting, crochet work, making key rings and teddy bears - all sorts of lovely items! Their fabulous hard work raised a fantastic £455 for Cuan. Pictured is Tina visiting Steph and Sue at their regular coffee morning yesterday, receiving the proceeds of their challenge. It's hard to believe it is only just over 2 months until our annual Open Day & Dog Show! We have a fabulous day planned for all who visit, including tours of our wildlife rescue hospital and outside facilities, a variety of food and drink vendors for you to choose from, the fabulous will be here with their face painting, glitter tattoos and balloon modelling, there will be bouncy castles for the children too! We have cakes and refreshments, our bottle and teddy tombolas, as well as a full field of craft and trade stalls for you to browse through. As if that wasn't enough to keep you busy, we are so grateful to Telford Pet Services and friends, for yet again running an amazing Dog Show for us. Small dogs, big dogs, best sausage catchers, best tricks - there are up to 15 classes for you to enter your lovely dogs - for online in advance bookings only, if you enter 5 classes or more you can enter discount code "15OFF2026" which will give you an automatic 15% discount! Another great quiz night at The Raven Inn last night, thank you Claire for hosting us on the first Wednesday of each month. It was close at the top of the leaderboard! Reynards Ramblers and B J S & M were joint 1st place 🥇- after a tiebreak B J S & M won overall! Only 1 point behind were Burnall Banditos, with 3rd place going to What’s The Time. Thanks to all our teams for supporting us and raising £256 for charity 🥰🥰 - see you next month!

HOGLETS! 🦔
Summer is only around the corner! Just over a week ago we got our first lot of hoglets in! These little 5 were only around a day old when they came into us. At this age they require very intensive treatment and can be very difficult to rear. Fingers crossed they can all make it! 🤞🏻
