The last day will be this Saturday so come on in with your completed cards and get those prizes!!! The evenings are drawing in and it's beginning to feel Autumnal. But don't be sad, it's perfect for cozying up with a book! Getting comfy on the sofa with a hot drink and good book sounds is just lovely. We've picked out a few for you to choose from but we have shelves and shelves for you to browse. And don't forget you can order books from all over Birmingham to pick up from us. Which book will you choose to cozy up to?

For 3 weeks only we have a very special Reading Group with author Wren James. There is no homework, no books to read in advance, simply come and read some stories together and have a chat. Wren will give you exclusive insight into the methods authors may use to achieve their effects.

Every Friday afternoon from 11th September. Places are limited so reserve your spot now!

Kings Heath Library will be closed on Monday 31st August for the bank holiday. The library will re-open as normal on Tuesday 1st September at 9am.

Like the rest of the world, we were really sad when we heard this news. Not least because Dolly was such a champion of childhood literacy. A force for good who will be sadly missed.

We hope you all are enjoying your Summer!? It's been very hot but hopefully you have been able to spend time doing some lovely things. The holidays will soon be over but that means the return of Monday Morning Storytimes! Yaaayyy!

We will kick off on 7th September with a special Reading Challenge session so if you have been doing the Mini Reading Challenge then come along, show us your card full of stickers so that you can get your prize!!
