Our unit will be joining cadets from accross Lakeland District Sea Cadets to take part in this years Trafalgar Parade.
Any and all support with this is welcome, if you're able to support with sponsorship, transport or in anyway please reach out to us.

Lakeland District Sea Cadets Trafalgar Parade 2026 is coming to Maryport!

On Sunday 18th October, units from across the Lakeland District and other local organisations will come together in Maryport for the Annual Trafalgar Parade, commemorating the Battle of Trafalgar and celebrating our proud naval traditions.

With the parade taking place through the town, it’s a fantastic opportunity to come along, support our cadets and enjoy this special community event.

A huge thank you to Maryport Town Council for their generous sponsorship and support. Your contribution helps us cover the rising costs of putting on an event of this scale.

Fancy supporting the parade? We’re still looking for local businesses and organisations to get involved!

📣 NORTH WEST AREA TRAINING – OCTOBER 2026

Two Multi Activity Cadet Training (MACT) weekends are coming up at Ellesmere Port Sea Cadets, with a great selection of courses available!

⚓ 2nd–4th October – Weekend 1
⚓ 10th–12th October – Weekend 2

Courses include Physical Training, Seamanship, First Aid at Work, Class 2 Drill and Advanced Peer Educator.

💷 Cost: £42
📅 Applications close 4th September 2026

Cadets interested in attending should speak to a member of staff/UTO as soon as possible to get booked on.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Morecambe & Heysham Sea Cadet unit (TS Duke of Lancaster) will be held in person at 1900hrs on Monday 7th September 2026.
