Just to try to give some sort of update. We have received several updates and guidance notes from the government and bhhpa. This is still not entirely clear but we think we know where we stand at the moment. Caravan parks have been told to close, however where caravans and holiday homes are being used as temporary or primary residence, even during isolation only, then they will be allowed to stay and use the caravan. We take this as meaning we must stay open to accommodate this use but no other. Therefore those who are already on site isolating due to not having anywhere else to use or because they are still working locally as ‘key workers’ (as is the case with two care workers we know of) can continue to do so. However those who are not staying on site will not be able to visit during the restrictions currently in place. If you have food or essential items at the caravan which you need to retrieve then please do so. However due to the several high risk family members we have living on site, we ask that when you do so please do not visit the house or office. We will not be closing officially, in the sense that we will remain open to those above and will not be clearing the site of caravans etc. I’m sorry this is not entirely as clear and concise as we would like but we are trying to piece together the information we have received so far and essentially ‘fill in the blanks’ as best we can.
Please feel free to message us here with any questions and we will do our best to answer them.
We all need to respect the decision of the government at this time and do our best to stop the spread of this virus as quickly as we can so that we can get back to normal and enjoy the summer on site!
Many thanks for your understanding and cooperation.
Wayne and Maria.
