The NHS has started its winter flu vaccination programme. Carers are eligible for a free flu jab, and can book now for appointments from 1 October.

Vaccinations help to protect the people who are most at risk from flu, so make sure you book yours. And you can book for the person you care for too.

Over the past few months, our wonderful carers and volunteers have worked incredibly hard to transform our community garden into a bright, colourful and welcoming space where carers can relax, socialise and enjoy some time out.
From hand-painted garden panels to new plants, fruit and greenery, so much creativity, teamwork and care has gone into bringing the space to life. 💚
We’d love for you to come along, have a look around and enjoy the garden with us!

Lle Llais Community Festival Day at Chirk Castle 🏰🎨
Lle Llais is FREE festival of art, storytelling and mapping. Join artist Lily Tiger, poets Natasha Borton and Rhys Trimble, together with a team of community mappers from the Public Map, to explore your local area and your hopes for the future through a series of creative activities!

Lle Llais is a collaboration between Wrexham, Cambridge, Bangor and Cardiff universities, exploring the sense of place through cultural, creative and nature-based activities.

The event will feature a range of arts, poetry and creative workshops, offering opportunities to connect with nature, creativity and one another.

📌Saturday 26th September @ The Mindful Meadow at Chirk Castle, Wrexham, LL14 5AF.
An opening ceremony will take place at 11am, with other activities and performances running throughout the day.

The Trailblazer Project will be at The VIBE Station Welsh Government Pan Wales Apprenticeship Campaign event next Thursday!

The Trailblazer Project raises awareness of the support available to unpaid carers and share information about how the Trailblazer Project can help carers in Denbighshire take steps towards employment, education, training or volunteering.

The project offers free, personalised one-to-one support, helping carers build confidence, develop skills, explore opportunities and work towards their goals in a way that fits around their caring role.

Join us at our new venue! You can take part in a variety of crafts from card making, jewellery, beading, papercraft, pompom making, diamond art, crochet, knitting etc or you can bring your own crafts and ideas to the group.

Refreshments provided. Free onsite parking and there is also an onsite café.
