It was a real privilege and honour to stand as a Welsh Labour candidate for Clwyd in this Senedd election. Campaigning across our communities alongside such a committed and passionate team has been a wonderful experience that I will always be grateful for. I particularly want to thank Hannah Caroline and Carolyn Thomas for their leadership, friendship and dedication over so many years in the Senedd. Both have made a hugely positive impact on Wales and on Clwyd through their service, and it was fantastic to campaign alongside two former Members of the Senedd who care so deeply about our communities.

It was also fantastic to campaign with fellow candidates Crispin Jones, Ellen Jones, Rajeev Metri, Arran Fearn and Cheryl Williams. This campaign brought us all closer together, created real camaraderie, and gave me the opportunity to learn so much from such talented and hardworking people. It has been a truly valuable and rewarding experience.
It was also brilliant to visit so many organisations, businesses and community groups across Clwyd during the campaign, listening to people directly and gaining a deeper understanding of the issues that matter most to our communities and the priorities people want to see addressed.

I would also like to congratulate Rhun ap Iorwerth as Wales’ new First Minister, and I hope all of Clwyd’s Senedd Members continue to work hard to support people and communities across our region. While there is much to be proud of from this campaign, it is also important that we reflect on the results, take stock, and understand what the public are telling us. Listening, learning and rebuilding trust will be essential in the months and years ahead.

I will now continue my work as a councillor in Mold, standing up for local residents and continuing to serve the community to the very best of my ability ✨

Thank you to everyone who supported our campaign, spoke with us on the doorstep, and took part in our democracy ❤️

Really pleased to support Mold’s bid for UK Town of Culture 2028 alongside Becky Gittins MP. Mold has a proud cultural heritage and a thriving creative community. From Bailey Hill to Theatr Clwyd, our town is full of organisations, businesses, and volunteers who work together to create a welcoming and vibrant cultural life.

For the past 20 years, Mold’s status as a Cittaslow town has helped shape the place we see today, supporting local produce, championing independent businesses, and celebrating our unique cultural identity. That strong sense of community and sustainability has created a fantastic foundation for our future

I believe this bid is about far more than a single year of celebration. It is an opportunity to strengthen community pride, support local businesses and artists, attract investment and visitors, and build a lasting cultural legacy for Mold and the wider region.

What makes this bid especially important is the strong grassroots involvement already taking place, with residents, community groups, and local organisations helping shape the vision for the future of our town.

As a councillor in Mold & Senedd candidate 2026 for Clwyd, I am incredibly proud to support this bid and the opportunities it could bring for our community ❤️

Could Mold be the very first UK Town of Culture? 👀

On polling day, I want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone across Clwyd who has taken the time to speak with me over these past months.

Since becoming a candidate, I’ve had the privilege of listening to people on doorsteps, visiting local businesses and organisations, and hearing directly about the issues that matter most. Every conversation has been genuinely valuable, and I’m grateful for the openness and honesty shown to me in every community I’ve visited.

It’s also been a real privilege to campaign alongside such dedicated fellow candidates and party members. The hard work, camaraderie, and shared purpose have brought us closer together, and I’m proud to be part of such a committed team.
A special thank you to my family and friends for their constant encouragement and support throughout this journey, I couldn’t have done it without you.

This election is a chance to choose a fairer, more ambitious future for Clwyd and beyond, one where working people are put first, public services are strengthened, and opportunities are created for every community.

If you want that positive work to continue, vote Welsh Labour today! ❤️

It’s been a busy few weeks out canvassing across Clwyd, and I just wanted to say how much I’ve enjoyed being out and about in our communities! From early evenings on the doorstep to weekends spent speaking with residents, we’ve had so many valuable conversations. People have been generous with their time, open about their concerns, and passionate about the future of our area, and that’s been a real privilege to be part of.

A big thank you as well to all the volunteers, fellow candidates, and party members who’ve been out in all weathers to make these sessions happen. The energy, commitment, and sense of teamwork has been fantastic.
These conversations are what campaigning is all about, listening, learning, and standing up for the issues that matter most.

On 7th May, vote Welsh Labour ❤️

It was a real honour to be asked by Becky Gittins MP to appear in her video supporting Mold’s bid to become Town of Culture. Mold has so much to offer, from Bailey Hill to Theatr Clwyd, our vibrant market town is full of life, history, and community spirit. We’re proud of our wonderful independent businesses, the beauty of St Mary’s Church, and our place as the birthplace of Daniel Owen. I’m incredibly proud to be a councillor in Mold and to represent such a special community.
This video is a fantastic way to showcase everything that makes Mold so unique. Fingers crossed for the bid, it would be an incredible achievement for our town!

‘Be kind to people you pass today’ 💛
This message from the London Marathon really touched me. It’s such a simple reminder, but one that means everything. We never truly know what someone else is carrying: the struggles, the silent battles, the strength it took just to show up today. Whether it’s a smile, a kind word, or just a moment of patience, it all matters more than we realise. The world feels a little lighter when we choose kindness 💜 Huge well done to every single London Marathon runner, your determination, resilience, and spirit are genuinely inspiring✨ Let’s look out for each other, today and every day ❤️

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Craft Shack in Mold, a brilliant independent shop that really captures the creativity and community spirit of our town! From handmade gifts to locally inspired designs, it’s exactly the kind of place that makes our high streets worth visiting. Their “I ❤️ Mold” tote bags are a great example of that local pride, I’ve been seeing them all over town! It’s fantastic that they’re available in both English and Welsh too, celebrating our language and identity in everyday life!
