Living history isn't just flashy canons and drills, it's also the simple parts of life. Bringing your four legged friend on an adventure, doing a little carpentry or sewing, and even simply drying your socks in a tree! When you visit us this weekend, make sure to explore the camps and get a good idea of what people would do in their down time during the American War of Independence.

It's tomorrow! We're incredibly excited to have you all back, and as the event continues to grow, we’d just like to remind everyone of a few important points to help keep the meets enjoyable and safe for everybody, including our volunteers, visitors, neighbours and fellow enthusiasts.
⚠️ Please arrive and leave the event respectfully:
• Keep noise to a minimum
• Stick to the speed limits
• No burnouts, drifting or unsafe driving
❌ Any dangerous driving will result in those drivers being unable to attend future events.
🕘 The meet starts at 5pm, with gates closing promptly at 9pm. Please make sure all vehicles have left the site before this time.
🚸 For everyone’s safety, please avoid standing near the exit points and stay back from the road. This helps drivers leaving the event clearly see oncoming traffic and exit safely.
🚮 Please be respectful to our neighbours by not sitting on walls and by taking rubbish home or using the bins provided.
💷 Please have change ready when entering the show, as this helps keep arrivals moving smoothly for everyone.
➡️ Please follow the guidance of our volunteers when parking. We do our best to fit in as many vehicles as possible while keeping clear exit routes available. Spaces cannot be reserved and are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
😊 Please remember that all of our team are volunteers giving up their time to run this event. We ask that everyone treats them with kindness and respect.
We’re incredibly grateful for the support these meets bring to the Moira Furnace charity, and with everyone working together we can keep the events running for years to come. Thank you all for your continued support and cooperation — see you there! 🙌
