Childcare by Clare If you have not already guessed my name is Clare Storey, I am an OFSTED registered Childminder based in Mirfield, West Yorkshire.

Our home is a safe, loving environment where children can relax, play, feel comfortable and develop at their own pace. I work in partnership with parents/guardians recognising diversity in the core family values and providing continuity of care that gives a child and their families a sense connection between home, work and educational environments


I strive to provide an emotionally, as well as p

hysically safe, caring and learning environment that promotes curiosity, creativity, independence, problem solving and social skills. I promote a play based learning environment which is accessible by all children regardless of age, gender or ability. Our family setting embraces difference and encourages equality regardless of gender, ability or racial background. Toys, puzzles, games, books, creative/artistic play are always available for the children along with outdoor play in our secure fenced garden (weather permitting), we also enjoy regular visits to parks, playgroup for the younger ones as well as more educational visits to local attractions. There is a varied and healthy menu choice available for the children and I cater for special dietary requirements too. Our house has a large ground floor area with a separate playroom making it ideal for children of all ages, we are within easy reach of all the major road networks and are only five minutes from the M62.
