⏰Deadline to be included on this years Scarecrow Map is Noon this Thursday 10th September⏰

The Annual Wolverton Scarecrow Festival 2026 returns to the street of Wolverton across this weekend (12th & 13th September) as part of the Living Archive Heritage Open Days.

We would love for as main local residents and business to take part and look forward to seeing all the fantastic creations.

Not sure how to make a scarecrow?!?
There is a helpful guide printed on page 9 of the most recent Community Magazine which can also be seen below.

If you are making a scarecrow and would like it to appear on the official scarecrow map, please make sure that you let the Town Council know by emailing [email protected] by noon on Thursday 10th September.

🗺 The official scarecrow map will be found on our website or via the event page ahead of the weekends event.

Council tenant? We hold 30 drop-in sessions around the city every month for tenants to ask questions, get advice, or tell us about something we need to do. 🚧 REMINDER Roadworks in Wolverton 🚧

Milton Keynes City Council (MKCC) have authorised the closure of the following highway in the parish:

📍 Stratford Road (Jersey Road to Mccorquodale Place)
🗓️ 1st - 8th September 2026
⏰ 09:30 – 15:30
⤴ Whilst the above closure is in place the alternative route will be via Old Wolverton Road, Haversham Road and Stratford Road (and vice versa).

This road closure is in place to allow contractors to safely work within the carriageways.
