Police are appealing for public help to locate a missing teenage girl.

Amirah Azam, who is 16-years-old, was reported missing on Friday 29 May after last being seen at an address in Northampton.

Enquiries carried out since suggest that Amirah may be in the Neston Road area of Leicester, therefore the investigation has been transferred to Leicestershire Police.

Amirah is described as Asian, 5ft 5ins tall, of a medium build, has long brown hair and sometimes wears glasses. She may also be in company with a 15-year-old boy.

She also has links to Milton Keynes and could well travel to that area.

Active enquiries continue to be progressed to locate Amirah as police and her family are concerned for her welfare.

Anyone who may have seen someone matching her description or knows where she may be is asked to contact police on 101.

🚔 Vehicle Seized 🚔

Earlier this week, SC Sandhu and PC Walker were on patrol near Central Milton Keynes when a vehicle came to their attention after pulling out directly in front of them, causing the officers to brake heavily to avoid a collision.

A stop check was carried out, and enquiries revealed that the driver was not insured to drive the vehicle and was already disqualified from driving, having accumulated 18 penalty points on their licence.

Safe to say it wasn't the driver's night.

The driver has been reported for summons to court, and the vehicle has been seized.

🚗 No insurance.

🚫 Disqualified driver.

🔑 Vehicle seized.

Road safety remains a priority, and we will continue to take action against those who choose to drive unlawfully and put other road users at risk.

⚠️ We're appealing for witnesses following a serious injury collision in Winslow, Buckinghamshire 📍

At around 7.50am on Monday, a white and blue Renault HGV collided with a white BMW R1300 motorcycle on Winslow Road between Winslow and Little Horwood. The motorcyclist, a man in his fifties, sustained life-threatening injuries and remains in hospital. No arrests have been made.

If you witnessed the collision, saw either vehicle beforehand, or have dash-cam, CCTV or doorcam footage from the area please come forward.

📸 We’re appealing for help to identify the man in this image following a robbery in Milton Keynes.

At around 6pm on Monday 23 March, a man in his fifties was approached by two men on the Redway path behind Wimborne Crescent. He was assaulted and had his wallet stolen.

The victim required hospital treatment but has since been discharged and is recovering.

We believe the person in this image may have important information about the robbery which could help our investigation.

Ethan was found today after being reported missing over the weekend

Our Major Crime Unit can provide an update in the murder investigation in the city.

On Sunday, around 6pm, officers attended a property in East Moor Drive in Wolverton Mill following reports made to us around a concern for welfare.

Sadly, officers found a woman in her fifties deceased inside the property.

Senior Investigating Officer, Detective Chief Inspector Will Crowther said: “Today, I am able to provide an update into this tragic murder investigation in which a woman in her fifties has lost her life.

“Formal identification has not yet taken place; however, we will provide a further public update once this has been confirmed.

“The victim’s next of kin are being supported by specially trained family liaison officers, and our thoughts remain with them at this extremely difficult time. The family have asked for their privacy to be respected.

“We have a dedicated team of officers working on this investigation. They are carrying out enquiries at the scenewatch which remains in place at the property on East Moor Drive. There will continue to be an increased police presence in the area.

“A 58-year-old man from Milton Keynes, who was arrested on suspicion of murder on Sunday, has now been detained under Section 2 of the Mental Health Act. We want to reassure the community that we are not currently looking for anyone else in connection with this incident.

“We understand that this incident will cause concern within the local community, and we would like to reassure residents that we are carrying out a thorough investigation. If you have any information, concerns, or questions, please speak to an officer at the scene, call us on 101, or contact us via our website, quoting reference 43260258168.”

⚖️ A child s*x offender who committed offences in Milton Keynes has been jailed.

Peter Cox, pictured, has been sentenced to 18 years in prison after admitting multiple offences against a young child over a number of years.

He received a special custodial sentence for offenders of particular concern, meaning he will serve his full custodial term in prison without automatic early release, followed by a mandatory two-year extended licence period.

This was a deeply upsetting case, both because of the nature of the offences and the vulnerability of the victim at such a young age.

The investigation was complex and long-running, but officers remained committed to securing justice.

We would like to recognise the incredible courage and resilience shown by the victim in coming forward and supporting the case.
