Lots has been happening recently;

Firstly, good work to all those who went on spring camp,we've heard good things back so far and hope you all had a hoofin' weekend, hopefully pictures will be put up in the coming weeks when they make their way to us.

Secondly this weekend is the MC1 promotional board, we have several cadets attending as do our neighbouring units.

For those requiring transport it is being provided by Aylesbury Unit, however cadets will have to make their own way to that unit for 07:15 on Saturday morning. We appreciate the staff of Aylesbury for their assistance.

Best of luck to all cadets attending the board, especially our own cadets, we expect some new MC1's after this weekend!

Congratulations to our national first aid team on securing TS Whaddon the victory for the second year.

The detachment is especially proud to congratulate our cadets who were part of the team.

This includes team leader Cdt Cpl Whitehall and MC2 Frier who had the added commitment of attending parade nights three times a week to ensure they were fully prepared.

Well done to all cadets who took part in the recent SQ weekend, it was a huge success.

However special congratulations are in order for MC1 Payne, who after an intensive weekend, both mentally and physically, passed his promotional board.

As such on Wednesday he was presented with his new rank slides by the detachment commander, marking his formal promotion to rank ofCadet Corporal
