Today we are supporting Milton Keynes College, Bletchley, for a charity event in aid of an amazing cause!

They are running lengths of hose from Milton Keynes College to Bicester Fire Station in support of those affected by the Bicester Motion incident, while also raising money for The Fire Fighters Charity.

We have two requests today:
🚒 We would love any local firefighters to come along and run some hose with us!
❤️ We are also asking members of the public to please donate whatever they can to support this incredible event and cause.

Every bit of support is greatly appreciated!

UPDATE - 7:30 am, Sunday 26 April

The firefighters are using breathing apparatus, main jets and two turntable ladders. Cordons have been put in place, and our crews are expected to remain on scene for a considerable amount of time. We are working with Thames Valley Police, South Central Ambulance Service and onsite staff.

The building was evacuated.

Our crews are working extremely hard, and we’ll provide further updates when we have more confirmed information.

Our advice to the public is to still avoid the area and to local residents, please keep windows and doors closed to avoid breathing in smoke generated by the fire.
