🐾 This week our Badgers had a fantastic visit from a guide dog in training and learned all about the incredible work guide dogs do to support people with sight loss.

The session was both educational and fun, giving our Badgers the opportunity to ask questions, learn new skills, and meet a very special four-legged visitor! 🦮

A huge thank you to Pooja for taking the time to visit us and sharing her knowledge and experiences! 🚑💚

Today we are wishing our very own Buckinghamshire County Badger of the Year, Gideon, the very best as he joins the other County Badgers of the Year at Trooping the Colour. 🚑💚

This is a fantastic achievement, and we are incredibly proud of all he has accomplished. We hope he has a wonderful day making memories and representing Badgers with pride. Have an amazing time, Gideon! ⭐💚🐾

Inspired by Gideon’s achievement? Badgers is open to young people aged 5–10 and helps them build confidence, learn first aid, make friends and develop valuable life skills in a fun and supportive environment. 🚑💚

As part of Volunteers’ Week, our volunteers were proud to support the Spring Fayre at the Frank Moran Centre in West Bletchley today, helping to serve tea, coffee, and cake to members of the local community.

Volunteers make a real difference every day, giving their time, skills, and kindness to support others. Events like this are a wonderful reminder of the positive impact volunteering has within our communities.

Thank you to all our volunteers for everything you do, and to everyone who attended and helped make the day such a success. 🚑💚

St John Ambulance volunteers selflessly give their time and skills to save lives and keep people safe.

Caring for others, waking in the early hours to coordinate behind the scenes, and generously using their free time to develop their clinical skills and train the next generation.

💚Happy International Nurses Day 💚

Today, we want to recognise and celebrate all nurses for the incredible care, compassion, and dedication they show every single day. 🩺

Here in the North Buckinghamshire Network of St John Ambulance, we are proud to have two registered nurses volunteering within our team. Their knowledge, support, and commitment help make a real difference to both our volunteers and the communities we serve. 💚

Thank you to every nurse in hospitals, the community, emergency care, and beyond for everything you do. 💚
