Polite reminder - Can you please clean up after your dog, there is lots of dog muck on the pavement outside nursery this morning, causing some children to stand in it and bring it in to Nursery.

Exciting News from Parkview Nursery School!
We are delighted to introduce our brand new Reading Shed!

As part of the National Year of Reading, we’re proud to launch this lovely new community initiative to help foster a lifelong love of books in our children and beyond.

Thanks to a generous donation from Speed Competitions, we have been able to create a small outdoor ‘library’ where children can choose a book to take home and keep. Each book is stamped with our “Please keep me at home” message to help families build their own book collections

Everyone is welcome!

This is open to the whole community – not just Parkview families.

Opening times:
• 8:15 – 9:30am
• 2:45 – 3:30pm

If these times don’t work for you, just let us know – we’re happy to help where we can.

We would also love donations of good-quality children’s books (any age) to keep our shed stocked for everyone to enjoy.

Let’s work together to inspire a love of reading across our community.

Today PCSO 5450 - Claire, was invited into Parkview Nursery School in Millom, she spoke with small groups of children about how the police help us. Some of them were even able to tell her what number to call in an emergency. She even got chance to play in the water. What very well behaved and polite young children. 😊 👮 🚓
