!!! HELP !!!

Are there any local plumbers who could attend the Community Hub/Library on Monday please, to deal with a toilet cistern problem 🙏

The cistern is not shutting off and constantly filling with water so we have turned all water to the Hub off at the stopcock.

Until it's fixed we can't re-open to the public and have evening bookings we may to cancel.

If you are able to help, please call Tony on 07824 811835.

Thank you!

URGENT MESSAGE for PARENTS & CARERS.

We are very concerned to report that today, evidence has been found that an attempt has been made to light 3 fires in Reynold's Wood at the top of the playpark. Obviously this is worrying at any time. However, the risks involved in this kind of activity during these high temperatures are magnified, and potentially risk the loss of woodlands, property and the safety of residents.

Please remind your children of the dangers of fire and advise them that we now have new CCTV in the area. Thank you.

Thank you to the parishoner who reported the damage to the piece of equipment at the playpark. The handyperson has now removed the broken part and made the equipment safe. However it will require some further repairs when the handyperson is back from leave.

It has also been noticed that the fencing which is preventing access to the unsafe play equipment has been damaged in order to gain entry. This has also now been repaired.

Can we please ask that you encourage any children or teens who use the area to treat it with care and respect. The council are working hard to replace the unsafe structure with a spectacular new piece of play equipment (see image below), and we would hate to think this will be vandalised by the tiny minority too. Thank you.

To report further damage please email:
