🐻✨ Carlo the Bear had the BEST morning today!

We had so much fun playing together and getting creative 🎨 We made delicious Easter chocolate baskets as a special treat 🍫 and crafted some beautiful little chicks using paper plates 🐥

Of course, we couldn’t resist heading outside to enjoy the spring weather, where we had lots of fun getting wonderfully wet while playing with our little chicks 💦🌸

Next week we’re so excited for our Easter Party 🥳 Our stage will be out ready for our Easter Bonnet Parade… we can’t wait to see all your amazing creations! 🎩🐣

See you all soon! 💛

Last week our Junior Road Safety Officers from across our three primary campuses enjoyed a valuable afternoon meeting with two of our local Police Community Support Officers. The pupils had the opportunity to discuss important road safety topics, including the illegal use of e-scooters and electric bikes, as well as other concerns they had about safety in their community. It was a fantastic chance for our young leaders to ask questions, share their views, and learn more about keeping everyone safe on our roads. 🚦🚲

BCA ST ILLTYDS CAMPUS

What a wonderful turnout we had at our BCA St Illtyd's Campus science fayre this afternoon! It was lovely to see so many parents and family members joining us and working alongside their children as they shared their projects.

Mrs Reddy's Class
After learning all about healthy and unhealthy choices this week, Mrs Reddy's class became little chefs and prepared some tasty healthy snacks for the Gruffalo. Inspired by the story of The Gruffalo, the children used their knowledge to choose nutritious ingredients and create snacks that even the Gruffalo would enjoy!

Mrs George's Class
Over the past two weeks, Mrs George’s class have been learning all about how to keep themselves healthy. They explored the importance of personal hygiene, getting enough sleep, and understanding what makes a balanced diet. Today, the children shared their breathing investigation with their parents and enjoyed making their own healthy granola pots together. 🥣🔬

Mrs Acreman's Class
In Mrs Acreman’s class, the pupils created their own podcasts using Adobe Podcast, exploring topics such as healthy bodies, healthy minds, and healthy eating. They then shared their podcasts with their parents and enjoyed making and tasting a delicious healthy fruit kebab together. 🍓🍍🍇

Miss Budding's Class
Miss Budding’s class carried out a fascinating investigation by creating their own red cabbage indicator to test the pH levels of various household substances. Using this natural indicator, they observed colour changes to help classify each item as either an acid or an alkali. 🔬🥬

Heddiw, dathlon ni ein Heisteddfod gan ddod â disgyblion o’n hysgolion cynradd ynghyd â’n disgyblion Blwyddyn 7 ar gyfer arddangosfa wych o ddiwylliant a thalent Cymru. Roedd y diwrnod yn llawn cystadlaethau bywiog, gan gynnwys dawnsio gwerin, canu, celf a llefaru, gyda brwdfrydedd a chreadigrwydd yn disgleirio ym mhob perfformiad. Cymerodd y côr ran hefyd, gan ychwanegu at ysbryd cerddorol y digwyddiad. Diolch yn fawr i bawb a gyfrannodd i wneud yr Eisteddfod yn achlysur mor gofiadwy. Mae eich gwaith caled a’ch cyfraniad yn cael eu gwerthfawrogi’n fawr.🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🎶🎨

Today we celebrated our Eisteddfod, bringing together pupils from our primary partners alongside our Year 7 students for a wonderful showcase of Welsh culture and talent. The day was filled with vibrant competitions, including folk dancing, singing, art, and recitations, with enthusiasm and creativity shining through in every performance. Our school choir also gave a fantastic contribution, adding to the musical spirit of the event. A huge thank you to all pupils, staff, and supporters who helped make the Eisteddfod such a memorable occasion. Your hard work and participation are greatly appreciated.🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🎶🎨
