This newt has taken up residence in the container we use for water we supply for the birds. Anyone know what type of newt it is please, and if it is actually a newt?

The beautiful pink flowers with spiked petals are Honka Fragile Dahlia, and were a birthday present from my cousin, Janet Bentley. Many thanks for these; they are gorgeous. This is just from one of the three tubers! The others have to get buds on them yet. The beautiful blue flowers are Agapantha, and have taken two years to grow. In the Belfast sink, are some of the plants Bob bought me at the Ayr Flower Show last weekend. They probably won't do much until next year but I so love them, they are so delicate.

These beautiful white Cosmos were grown last summer. The seeds were from a very dear friend Bianca. I'm hoping I will have more come through this year. Also, Bianca sent me some gorgeous tall Cornflower seeds which flowered too. They are just about to open this year again. ###xx

7am 31 May 2017 - Finally captured some photographs of one of our three hares - even if the only way was taking the picture through the window! This is the culprit who keeps on eating our new plants!! He is beautiful though, and looks like a small greyhound when he runs down to the garden.

Only 'found' these photographs today! Not only do they show the garden, they also include pictures of Bob with the pheasant chick which was born late in late August 2016. She has survived the winter, and has just given birth to her first chick, which you will see on another album for 2017.
