SM Studio is located in the heart of the pretty village of Maulden, Bedfordshire. Tucked
away in a peaceful part of the village the studio has lovely open views onto fields and
woods. A warm, cosy welcome waits on your arrival as does a nice cup of tea/coffee. The studio has
a good amount of natural light from dual aspect windows and in fine weather the pottery
wheels can be located out on the gra
ss looking out onto the wild grass field.

Two-to-One 2 Hours for 2 people £50 (£20 saving)
All basic material/equipment is provided with the exception of Silver Clay and Oils/Acrylics
which will be arranged as needs arise.

The quickest way to learn any new skill is to have intensive tutor/student time. With 2 hour
one-to- one sessions progression is rapid and very satisfying. These sessions need to be
booked well in advance. Beginners will need a minimum of 6 hours of throwing before they
really ‘get it’ and then it becomes a wonderfully addictive.

Prices include all material/equipment/glazes/firing & freshly made lunch and refreshments. Specialist technique of Sally’s artwork will be passed onto you during this workshop. Working with raised patterns in clay and a vast array of fritted coloured glass to choose
from, once kiln fired beautiful effects and stunning colours are achieved in your wall
hangings. This single firing process means that the work can be designed and prepared
within the day. Your work will be fired within a week and either returned to you if you live
locally or collection can be arranged.

Starting the day with the joy of the looseness of mono-printing, moving onto textured
heaven on printing using soft clay and finally create a final design using reduction print
linocut. Support will be given with designs. The studio has a wide resource bank to help get
the create juices flowing.

I consider PMC to be the most exciting art/craft product on the market. Alchemy before
your very eyes! This solid hallmark able Sterling Silver is suspended in a bender so it has the
feel of clay. Extraordinary variety of jewelry can be created from pendants/earrings/rings/brooches with very much an organic feel. Once finished this
product is blasted with a blow torch and the particles join together to make a unique, solid
piece of silver jewellery. The process is amazing and your will love the end result. You will be
given a 10g of silver clay that will be enough, for example, to make a Sterling Silver necklace
pendant and 2 silver earrings….not bad for £35! All included in the price. Support will be
given and resources available to help you design and create stunning pieces that take
advantage of this amazing product.
