There is a strong rural influence in our pre-school which is surrounded by breath taking views of the village and surrounding area. The pre-school is held in the village hall downstairs in the activity room, upstairs we have the use of a large function room for riding bikes and gross motor play, outside there is a grassed area complete with a mud kitchen and our much loved guinea pigs ‘Lemonade an
d Annabelle’, there is also a paved area for mark making and a rubber matted area. Transition into full time education is very important at Brassington pre-school. This is why we have formed strong links with the village school and surrounding schools, so that we can all work together to make the transition into school a smooth and exciting time for your child. Children are welcome at Brassington pre-school from the age of 2 years. Free funding for all 3/4 year olds some 2 year olds are also eligible for free funding under the new extended criteria.
