Well Done to the Derbyshire RABI Committee (RABI Communities) for raising such an incredible amount, particularly when the farming community are facing such a challenging summer 👏🏼

What a fantastic evening for the Derbyshire RABI Committee at Hopton Hall Gardens

More than 100 guests joined us for a special evening, raising an incredible £4,400 for RABI.

A huge thank you to our generous hosts, Chris and Andi Harvey, for opening their home and gardens, and for taking the time to share the story of Hopton Hall’s restoration with guests throughout the evening.

We’re also very grateful to Uppercrust Caterers for providing the delicious canapés, and to everyone who attended and supported the event.

Funds raised will help RABI continue providing practical, financial and emotional support to farming people across England and Wales.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the evening such a success. 💚

If you're in need of an art fix now July's Month of Art is over, it's a great time to stop by the Hopton Hall Gallery in Ashbourne!

Currently on display are a solo exhibition by Amadora, Peak District Artisans' Emerging Talent Artist 2026, and a Portrait & Human Form exhibition, both of which run until 26th August.

A quick reminder that the Hopton Hall Gardens are now closed to the public although the behind-the-gates work certainly continues...

Hall and holiday cottages maintenance. Tree surgery. Rose pruning. And plans afoot already for our next public opening (our famous Snowdrop Walk in February). Watch this space!

Our Estates team may look as though they're about to set sail on vacation but, for now, it's all hands on deck on our working estate 💪🏻 💪🏻💪🏻

Thank you to every visitor, artist and supporter who came along to this year's Summer opening and Month of Art and who helped to make it such a special event 🥰
