The Council is supporting Netherhall School pupil Brandon Hullock in his Silver Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme volunteering work. Brandon is litter picking in the Maryport area for a six month period & has now completed his third month. Last month, he was clearing rubbish in the poppy ship roundabout & surrounding area; land opposite Grasslot shore car park; & Solway Industrial Estate. Below are some pictures of the finished jobs, together with before & after pictures. Can you believe the amount of litter people just throw away?
Well done Brandon, keep up the fantastic work!
