Thank you to everyone who came and supported us today at our charity car wash.

A fantastic day raising over Β£700 for the Firefighters Charity on the hottest day of the year so far.

On top of washing cars for 6 hrs crews have also been mobilised to 3 separate incidents today, one unfortunately an hour into the car wash, that's 4 call outs in the past 24hrs for our crews so a very busy timeπŸš’.

The team at Station 80 are delighted and privileged to have received one copy of only two produced, of this book from our highly respected friend and former colleague Paul Cregan.

The book contains hundreds of photos and articles over 100 years relating to Martock Fire Station.

It is a very interesting historical record, especially considering how few photographs were available many years ago.

We have included a few pages to show the contents and the first page dedicates the book so perfectly.

We are incredibly grateful to have been given this book by Paul, who has already written 3 books about his time in the Fire Service.

This book will be displayed at the station with the other photos and records for all visitors to view.

We intend to use the book to highlight the stations proud heritage and history in Martock and inspire the next generation of Martock Firefighters through recruitment.

There may just be another book soon.

Thank you Paul!

A polite message to the dog walker who thinks its acceptable to use our scrap/training cars as a dog waste bin, could you please STOP!!

We only have a limited time each week to train, this is made even shorter if we have to spend time cleaning up before.

There is a waste bin two minutes walk from the station.
