**May Day May Day**

The annual May Day Fair will be on Monday 4th May, up on the Sports Field.
This is a family event for people in the village and the wider surrounding area, which attracts anything up to 1000 visitors, if the weather is kind!
Each year we run a small committee to help organise everything, such as attracting the stall holders and booking them in, organising kids activities, publicity, parking, helping out on the day etc... We would love to invite new villagers to get involved, and anyone who would like to lend a hand.
We will have a brainstorm storm and share ideas at a meeting in The Plough on Wednesday 4th March, at 7.30pm.

This is tonight! Lots of stalls and food to try and of course the wine tasting!! 6 Til 9 pm. Free entry.

Don't forget to pop along to our Christmas Wine Tasting Evening, this Friday!
There will be lots of food available as well, Dan ( Thai Tuesdays ) will be serving up new lines in his range of ready meals, that are on sale in the shop, No Adde-tives will be selling a full range of chutney, jam and Christmas Puddings, there will be lots of Seggiano lines, cheese, biscuits, Wiltshire Liqueur Company, and Ramsbury Brewery lines and other locally produced items that are on sale in the shop.

We will also be taking orders for Christmas Meats with Grove Farm Stitchcombe
And veg box orders from Shalbourne Community Growers

Happy No-Dig day! We harvested all this wonderful, nutritious veg from our no-dig beds. The veg all went into our seasonal, local veg boxes. So fresh and vibrant and bountiful.

Toughest decision we've ever had to make but the forecast is so bad for Sunday that we're POSTPONING the Heritage Festival to Sunday 12 October so it will combine with all the Apple Day activities.
