Blakeley Lane Campsite Blakeley Lane Eco Training and Campsite facility Blakeley lane is Eco friendly campsite located in Sherwood forest.

This is a specialist campsite site offers an unique opportunity to camp in Sherwood forest (approx 3 miles walk from major oak) and offers a full range of Eco training and survival courses to groups that have a camping exempt certificate such as Scouts, Guides, Boys brigade, YMCA Camping and Caravan club. We believe that we are the first campsite in the Midlands to have been granted planning permi

ssion for 2 Cob Pods and 1 Cob Dorm. We can offer training on how to construct these buildings either during your camp or as a school trip. The site is approx 2.5 acres and enables children to experience the great outdoors in a private and safe environment.

Really Productive day today, planted fruits of the forest around the site, including, Red, White Currents, Raspberries, Strawberries, Gooseberries, Lets hope we remember to water them all :0)

It has been confirmed the Robin Hood festival week is Monday 5 August and Sunday 11 August 2013. You can walk through the forest from our site and enjoy a fantastic day out completely Free, What more can we say!!

Would love to get the fence around the site finished so we implement the fun bits to the site, such as poly tunnel, toilet block update, play park etc.
