🌸🦋 **Life is good at Lenthall House!** 🦋🌸

What a wonderful couple of days we’ve had! 💕

**Thursday** was all about getting creative in the kitchen, as we enjoyed a lovely baking session making the most beautiful **butterfly cakes**, topped with delicious buttercream and jam. 🧁🦋 They looked (and tasted!) amazing! 😋

We then enjoyed an afternoon filled with **music and chair exercises** 🎶💃 — keeping active, having fun and sharing plenty of smiles along the way!

**Friday** brought more fun with a lively game of **Bingo** 🎉 followed by a relaxing **pamper morning**, with lots of lovely nail treatments. 💅😌 A little bit of pampering goes a long way!

In the afternoon, our wonderful staff members dressed up in **Nepalese cultural dress** for our residents to enjoy, and they looked absolutely fabulous! 🇳🇵✨ It was a lovely afternoon of culture, colour and conversation.

Another couple of days full of laughter, activities, creativity and togetherness. ❤️

💙 **A HUGE thank you to Tesco!** 💙

We would like to say a very big thank you to Tesco for their kindness and generosity towards **Lenthall House**. 🥰

We recently contacted Tesco to ask if they could donate some items to help us with our **tombolas and raffles**, raising money for our residents’ **Comfort Fund**. We were absolutely delighted with how quickly they got back to us and with the lovely items they kindly donated. 🎁✨

These donations will help us raise funds that go directly towards making a difference to our residents, helping us provide those little extras that bring comfort, enjoyment and smiles. ❤️

It means so much to have the support of our local community and businesses. Thank you, Tesco, for supporting Lenthall House and helping us make a difference to our wonderful residents.

☕🍰 **A lovely morning at Harborough Market!** 🛍️❤️

Our residents had a fantastic morning out at Harborough Market! We started the morning with some delicious hot chocolates, cappuccinos and cakes ☕🍰 before heading off for a wander around the market stalls.

There was lots to see, and the residents enjoyed doing a bit of shopping 🛍️. They were absolutely **chuffed with their purchases** and came back with some lovely goodies! 😍

Everyone had such a wonderful time and is already looking forward to our next visit! 🥰

A **huge thank you to Harborough Community Bus** for making this lovely outing possible. We really appreciate your support and helping our residents enjoy days like this! ❤️🚌

🌈 **A Creative Monday!** 🌈

On Monday, we got creative and had lots of fun painting our jars! 🖌️✨ We used a sponge effect to blend and combine different colours, creating a lovely spray-effect finish. We also used stencils to add some fantastic pictures and designs to our jars. Once finished, LED lights can be added to turn them into beautiful little lamps, making them a lovely keepsake. 💡🌟 After all that creativity, we enjoyed a game of Bingo before finishing off with some balloon tennis 🎈🎾 — always a firm favourite and guaranteed to bring plenty of smiles, laughter and a little friendly competition! 😍

🌟 **A Morning of Remembering Dolly Parton** 🌟

What a wonderful and special morning we had remembering the truly remarkable life and legacy of Dolly Parton. 🤠🎶 We sang along to some of her much-loved songs, wore the famous cowboy hat, discovered some fascinating facts about Dolly and took a journey through her incredible life by looking at photographs from throughout the years. We then put our knowledge to the test with a fun Dolly quiz, before finishing our morning with a viewing of Dolly on the BBC. It was a lovely morning filled with music, laughter, memories and admiration for a truly remarkable woman. Dolly touched the lives of so many people through her music, kindness, generosity and incredible spirit, and her legacy will live on for generations to come. ❤️🎵

Lenthall House will truly miss you both — not only our residents, but all the staff too. You have both been such a valued part of the Lenthall House family, and your hard work, kindness and dedication have meant so much.

**Manny**, thank you for all the delicious food and for the care and effort you put into your role as our chef. 🍽️👨‍🍳

**Pima**, thank you for your compassion, patience and dedication as a care assistant, and for always helping to make a difference to our residents’ lives. ❤️

Thank you both for everything you have done. You will be missed more than you know, but we are so happy for you and wish you every success, happiness and good luck in your new jobs. 💐❤️
