I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported me so well, and so determinedly.

Whether it was actively being part of the campaign, sharing kind words, or simply voting, thank you, so much. To win five wards and come so close is a testament to how hard we worked together.

I've learned a huge amount over the past six weeks; I will always be proud of how we performed as a team, and I am still very glad to have stood for SEN reform and as an openly autistic woman as representation matters, hugely.

If you need me for anything, I'm still here, and I'm not going anywhere; I'm committed to serve this community, and will continue to.

All love to everyone for a positive and impressive performance. I am so, so proud of you, and will continue to work my hardest for you.

It has been amazing in Heron this afternoon!

Thank you to Cllr Tom Mellish for walking around his ward with me and all the other lovely people in Herne Bay Labour for helping us out here.

We saw so many people on the seafront, the highstreet, and elsewhere and have been blown away by positivity.

We couldn't resist... we had a walk up to the fantastic Reculver Towers to admire this constituency (you can see for miles around up here) and speak with walkers on the trail up and down from the towers.
