A huge "thank you" to The Rotary Club of The Isle of Thanet Sunrise from the whole team at Age UK Thanet Ltd for selecting us as one of the 4 charities to benefit from this year's Big Knit event. The Rotary have donated a very generous £1000 to each charity!

Bill, one of our Buddy Box clients, was losing weight and there was a visible deterioration of his health.

Age UK Thanet carries out welfare checks when delivering hot meals. This meant that we were able to get Bill the support that he needed, before he required hospitalisation. See his story below.

Your donations make a big difference to somebody like Arthur, who needed immediate and urgent support from Age UK Thanet. Without intervention from Age UK Thanet, Arthur may have lost his life.

Calling all foodies!
