🎨🔬🎭 Could You Be Part of Mansfield Fun Palace 2026? 🎭🔬🎨

This October, Mansfield Museum will once again be hosting a Fun Palace – a free, community-led day of creativity, learning, sharing and discovery.

We're looking for artists, scientists, performers, makers, crafters, community groups, and anyone with a skill, hobby, passion or interest they'd like to share with others.

Fun Palaces are all about having a go, trying something new, and celebrating the amazing creativity and knowledge that exists within our community. We believe that everyone is an artist and everyone is a scientist.

Whether you'd like to run an activity, demonstrate a skill, perform, tell stories, share a collection, or inspire curiosity, we'd love to hear from you.

Interested in getting involved? Email [email protected]

We are spotlighting national which runs from 8 to 14 June with the theme ‘building carer-friendly communities’. Caring for another person can be both rewarding and exhausting so make sure you, or someone you know who has caring responsibilities, takes care of themselves, too.
Among the local support organisations for carers are:
• Carers Hub Service: https://carershub.carersfederation.co.uk/
• Nottinghamshire Carers Association: https://nottinghamshirecarers.co.uk/.
You can find more help and support guidance here 👉 www.carersweek.org.
