Let’s talk about food waste. Gather round for a spooky tale based on true events.

Last year, millions of pumpkins met a grisly end in the bin — flesh, guts and all. The plot twist? Like garlic to vampires or walking just a little faster when zombies appear, there’s a simple way to beat the waste: decorate your pumpkin instead of carving it.

It will stay fresher for longer, and you can eat the whole thing afterwards — making your plate, not the bin, its Final Destination.

Just on my ward boundary but does some great stuff

Absolutely thrilled the be the ONLY JW Lees Pub to ever be awarded the Sustainability Champion Award by the British Institute of Inkeeping. Our passion for the environment, locally sourced, high quality ingredients from small independent business coupled with making everything from scratch and rearing our own ducks for eggs are just some of the reasons The Tandle Hill Tavern is so different from the rest. "Everything is that little bit different and special here" you guys play a big part in our mission. In the words of Farmer richard "you vote with your wallet" and your continued support impacts so much more than just us, it supports every other small business we work with to strive for a better world and a better future 🌎

As many of you know I did a motion regarding community buy so this is a welcome addition. I learnt something as well about add ins in the clauses. Great motion.

Councillors are being asked to support plans that could help former pubs open their doors again.
