โšฝ Good luck to England as they kick off their World Cup campaign tonight.

But make sure you don't get caught offside when it comes to your recycling.

All those extra drinks cans, bottles and takeaway containers can be given a new lease of life if you make the right call after the final whistle.

Your matchday recycling guide:

โœ… Drinks cans (don't crush)
โœ… Glass bottles and jars (please donโ€™t put wedges of lime or lemon inside)
โœ… Plastic takeaway tubs (rinsed)
โœ… Aluminium foil trays and foil (clean and scrunched)
โœ… Pizza boxes (tear off heavily grease-stained sections)
๐Ÿšซ Crisp packets
๐Ÿšซ Sweet and chocolate wrappers
๐Ÿšซ Pet food pouches
๐Ÿšซ Baby food pouches

๐Ÿ† Recycle like a champion this World Cup and help Team Worcestershire score one for the environment.

We are considering our next steps following a Government planning sanction which could allow decisions on major developments in the district to be taken nationally rather than locally.

We strongly dispute the Governmentโ€™s decision and are considering all available options in response to this. We believe the decision does not reflect the significant improvements made to our planning service over the past two years.

We remain committed to delivering a high-quality planning service for our communities and will continue to keep residents updated as we consider our response.

โœจ FIVE THINGS YOU MIGHT NOT KNOW ABOUT MALVERN THEATRES โœจ

Our story is full of fascinating moments. Did you know Malvern Theatres has been entertaining audiences for more than 140 years? ๐ŸŽญ

Here are five things you might not know about Malvern Theatres:

1. We originally opened on 1st July 1885 and parts of the original building still survive Our original name was the Assembly Rooms ๐Ÿ›๏ธ

2. Some of the world's greatest actors and musicians have appeared on our stage including Sir Ian McKellen, Dame Judi Dench, Dame Helen Mirren, Sir Patrick Stewart and Nigel Kennedy.

3. George Bernard Shaw had a special connection to Malvern, with 19 of his plays produced here, and six of his plays receiving their world premieres in Malvern โœ๏ธ

4. There's more than one stage.Alongside the Festival Theatre, Malvern Theatres is home to the Forum Theatre (currently undergoing redevelopment), a 300-seat cinema and Studio One, which hosts workshops, classes and intimate performances.
There's also a bar and restaurant ๐ŸŽฌ

5. Our ยฃ20 million redevelopment project will eventually give us six seated venues under one roof, making Malvern one of the largest multi-venue arts centres in Europe
