We are a bright and modern venue and are very grateful for the warm welcome we have received from Maldon families.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended our first Open Day at Maldon Fields Crematorium on Saturday.

We were delighted to welcome so many visitors, and the weather was certainly kind to us too!

A special thank you goes to Philip Pennack of T Pennack & Sons Funeral Directors, Kirsty Hayden Celebrant, Lyn Currie from Gone Too Soon, and The Warren Estate for providing some fabulous refreshments and helping to make the day such a success.

We hope that everyone who attended found the day both informative and reassuring. Our aim was to offer an insight into the work we do and to help answer some of the questions people may have about crematoria and what happens behind the scenes. We believe that open conversations can help remove uncertainty and provide greater understanding of the services we offer.

Thank you once again for your support, and we look forward to welcoming you to future events.

Plus you will have the chance to meet the team and ask any questions about our service or the cremation process in general.

Now that “No Mow May” has finished, our gardener Alex has been out between showers cutting the grass around the Cooper’s Memorial and along the footpaths. This rain will really improve the grass and flowers around our grounds 🌦️

Last week we were honoured to hold the funeral service for a retired firefighter, Bob.

The Fire Service Guard of Honour was a truly moving moment and so personal for this gentleman who spent his life helping others.
