Another fantastic turnout at Friendship Club!

We kept cool in the library and enjoyed a relaxed bracelet-making session. The fluffy beads proved especially popular, along with the adorable animal charms – a big hit with everyone!

We run a free, friendly drop-in session every week at the library, offering support with everyday technology. Whether it’s sending emails, using apps, staying safe online, or getting to grips with a new device, we’re here to help.

If you have a friend, neighbour or elderly relative who isn’t on social media or struggles with technology, please let them know about this session.

Join our Calm, Connected and Confident sessions!

They are for families whose children are not currently in school and are working with their school to explore the right support or next steps. Sessions provide a safe, supportive space to attend together, helping children feel calm, build confidence, and stay connected during a time that can feel overwhelming.

We have added an additional date for our popular Memory Cafe as part of Dementia Action Week!

Join us Thursday 21st May 10am for a friendly, inclusive space designed for anyone living with dementia or supporting someone who is. The café offers a relaxed and welcoming environment where people can get together to share stories, enjoy a hot (or cold) drink and a biscuit, and take part in gentle, uplifting activities.

Our Memory Café has been set up with Alzheimer's Society and other partners and at most sessions there will be someone present to provide expert information, support and and help to connect individuals with essential services. The Cafes are great fun too! Many new friendships have been made there.
