🎉🏰 Fantastic free family fun at Minnis Bay!

KCC Community Wardens Jason Gordon and Gary Groombridge were invited to support Scripture Union’s brilliant Giant Inflatables Event at Minnis Bay Dip.

Hundreds of children and family members came along to enjoy several different bouncy castles. The atmosphere was incredible, and it was wonderful to see everyone having such an amazing time. 😊

The whole event was completely free—including hot and cold drinks for everyone. A huge thank you to Scripture Union for delivering another year of fantastic free events for local families. 🥤💙

Jason and Gary also spoke with local families about the Community Warden service, explaining how wardens support residents and sharing practical advice to help people stay safe in their communities. 🦺💬

Events like this are a brilliant way to strengthen communities and bring people together in such a positive way. 🤝✨

🦁📚 A fun-filled afternoon at Birchington Library!

KCC Community Warden Jason Gordon supported the Birchington Library’s Family Fun Activities Afternoon.

Families enjoyed free face painting, arts and crafts, a silent disco and a special meet-and-greet with Leo. Jason also spoke with families about the work community wardens do to support residents and help make local communities safer and stronger.

The children had a fantastic time, thanks to the brilliant library team who helped make the afternoon magical – and everyone went home with a shiny new football! ⚽✨

Events like this are a wonderful way to bring families together, celebrate our libraries and encourage a love of reading during the National Year of Reading. 📖💙
