ng youngsters for all walks of life and encouraging an active involvement in local communities. The ACF is not a recruiting tool for the Armed Forces but seeks to promote a sense of understanding of what the Armed Forces' roles and responsibilities are. We develop young people physically and mentally, improving self-confidence, teamwork, friendship and leadership through a wide diversity of fun, exciting and adventurous opportunities. We also aim to develop a sense of community in our cadets.

From the OC C Battery:

Last night we said farewell to Sgt Palache on her final parade night as a cadet. She was joined by her former detachment commander and representatives from HQ to mark the occasion.

Since joining in September 2021, she has been an outstanding member of both Swanley and C Battery, consistently demonstrating commitment, leadership, and dedication.

As she heads off to university, we wish her every success for the future and hope to welcome her back to visit us soon!
