Innovation, insight, and recognition 👏

Members of the Wksp welcomed ES Commander Col Jeavons and newly appointed BEME Maj Mercer for a visit focused on innovation and the lived experience of our soldiers. The day concluded with a showcase of improvements and an impressive display of the outstanding work being delivered by the LAD.

A proud moment as Col Jeavons presented the ES Commander’s Coin to Cpl Parkes, Cpl Gharti, Cpl Hambleton and LCpl Ghale in recognition of their wider service achievements, alongside WO2 Orton, who was awarded his LS&GC.

A great day highlighting the dedication, professionalism, and forward‑thinking mindset across the team.

As we head into the New Year, it is only right that we take a moment to reflect on some of SP’s achievements over the past term.

Before departing for Christmas stand-down, the Commanding Officer took the time to recognise outstanding commitment by presenting CO’s Coins to several SP. These individuals were recognised for their hard work, professionalism, and dedication throughout the term, consistently going above and beyond in support of the unit and its people.

The following personnel were awarded CO’s Coins:

• Spr I (50 HQ & Sp Sqn)
• Spr P (67 Gurkha Fd Sqn)
• LCpl D (69 Gurkha Fd Sqn)
• Cpl G (Wksp)

In addition, congratulations were extended to the Cambrian Patrol Team on their excellent achievement — a testament to their determination, teamwork, and resilience.

Special recognition was also given to Spr G and Spr L, who together raised an impressive ÂŁ657 for the Royal British Legion (RBL). An outstanding effort in support of a vital cause.

Inter Squadron Competition Winners - 67 Gurkha Fd Sqn

A well-deserved recognition all round. Congratulations to everyone involved, and thank you for continuing to set the standard as we move into the New Year.
