Special Visit 💫

We were delighted to welcome the First Minister, Michelle O'Neill, to our school this week for a very special visit 😀

The morning began with a formal welcome from our school community, followed by a wonderful welcome performance in the school hall. Our pupils took part in a short Q&A, and we enjoyed fantastic music, tin whistle, Irish dancing and singing from current and past pupils 🎤

One of the highlights of the visit was hearing the First Minister speak directly to our children, reminding them that they “can be anything they want to be” — an inspiring message that will stay with them for a long time 🫶

The First Minister then joined pupils in our school garden to plant flowers, before visiting the parent-toddler group in the neighbouring parish hall and meeting parents, toddlers and community volunteers. The visit continued with time spent with our Foundation Stage pupils during playtime, before finishing with a presentation from pupils and words of thanks from the school community.

We are very proud of all our pupils who represented our school so well and helped make the visit such a memorable occasion 🩵💜

Sports Day 2026 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🏅

What a fantastic Sports Day we had this week! 🤩 Our pupils showed amazing teamwork, determination and sportsmanship as they took part in races, games and challenges 😀

A huge well done to everyone who participated, and thank you to our families for cheering the children on. We are so proud of all our pupils! 🌟

We would also like to thank Healthy Kidz for leading the event and to Conway's Centra Littlebridge for providing the children with crisps and drinks. The children had a super day! 👏

Everyone is welcome to help support this brilliant toddler group who provide a fun, welcoming environment for local families 😀

We welcome everyone to come along tomorrow to our end of term party - this will be our last session before we break for the summer. We welcome everyone to visit us and join in with a great party in store - tag, share and spread the word 🎉🎉🎉🎉

Camogie Celebrations 🏑🥳

Well done to Amelia who played half back on the winning team for Tulach Óg Hurling and Camogie last night as they were crowned League Champions! 🏆
