Today, all pupils were invited to wear glasses to school. Children were able to wear any type they wished. There was lots of variety, including reading glasses, sunglasses, fun glasses and even homemade glasses! 😎🤓

It is important to us to help remind everyone that our differences are part of what makes us unique and that every child should feel comfortable, confident and included in our school 🤩

Everyone looked brilliant in their glasses today and we hope everyone had fun! 😀

Homework & Stay & Play (HSP) Club

We are delighted to introduce our new HSP Club, running on Mondays and Tuesdays from 3:30pm to 5:00pm starting on Monday 14th September 2026.

To book a place, parents must:

✅ Complete the Microsoft Form by the Friday before
✅ Send in payment by the Friday before
✅ Send a snack with their child

On Friday 11th September 2026, we are inviting all pupils to wear glasses to school. Children can wear any type they wish, including reading glasses, sunglasses, sports glasses, fun glasses or homemade glasses! 🤓😎

We know that some children can feel uncomfortable or self-conscious about wearing glasses or being seen as “different”.

Our Glasses Day will help remind everyone that our differences are part of what makes us unique and that every child should feel comfortable, confident and included in our school 🤩

We hope everyone will join in and help us celebrate inclusion! 🌟

It has been great to see all the children back at school! 🤩

We hope they have enjoyed returning from the summer holidays and are settling in well!

A quick reminder that we return to full school days from Tuesday 1st September 2026.

Back to School! 🎒

We are really looking forward to welcoming everyone back for the new school year! 😁

A reminder of the following dates:
Thursday 27th August: Reception, P1, P2, P6 and P7 only
Friday 28th August: P3, P4 and P5 only

Children may arrive at school from 9.00am onwards with class beginning at 9.30am. School will finish at 11.30am on both days. Please ensure that your child brings a bottle of water and a snack with them. There will be no dinner on the days mentioned above.

We hope this shorter start will help ease the children gently into the new school year as we understand it can take some time to get back into routine.

Please remember that school will be closed on Monday 31st August for the Bank Holiday. Our first full school day for all pupils will be Tuesday 1st September.

Further information and details regarding the upcoming school year will follow in the coming days. The school office will be open from Monday 24th August for any enquiries.

We look forward to seeing everyone again! 😊
