Ogwr History Month is finally here, so for our we're sharing some of the historic sites from across Ogwr.

The Old Bridge (Yr Hen Bont) is a remarkable medieval landmark in Bridgend, spanning the River Ogmore with its distinctive twin stone arches. Built around 1425 by an unknown craftsman, it has served the community for over six centuries. Carefully repaired and restored over the years, the bridge is now protected as both a Scheduled Ancient Monument and a Grade II* listed structure, preserving an important link to Bridgend's rich historic heritage.

The Ogwr Unlocked project and Ogwr History Months is made possible thanks to funding from Welsh Government.
