How can art and science come together to explore the universe’s biggest mysteries?

In Cosmic Titans, on tour at Jodrell until 20 September, creatives from ARTLab Nottingham collaborated with researchers to bring complex scientific ideas to life, from black holes and the multiverse to quantum particles and beyond.

This spectacular exhibition invites you to get hands-on with these concepts, demonstrating how the weird and wonderful world of quantum physics connects to our day-to-day lives.

When we think of history’s famous astronomers, how many women come to mind? 🔭

At our latest Lovell Lecture, Dr Sian Prosser, archivist and librarian at The Royal Astronomical Society, spotlighted the groundbreaking discoveries and often-overlooked stories of the women who helped shape the field as we know it today.

We caught up with Sian to learn more about who inspires her…
