***Update - dog now reunited with owner 🤗***

5pm - Sunday 5 July - A dog has been found wandering along Vauxhall Way, Luton, very close to our fire station.

Crews have helped a kind passer by take it in, cool it down, and give it water.

We are trying to help reunite it its owner and have offered to post on this page on behalf of the local person who found it (details in the comments) ahead of it being taken to a vet for microchip reading.

But being part of a great team and having the chance to do some real epic stuff makes it the best thing I’ve ever done. It’s all about helping the community we love when they’re in need.”
