Last week our languages leaders were pleased to be invited to attend the arrival of the French members of Ludlow Twinning Committee at Ludlow Brewery. We listened to speeches in French and English and enjoyed meeting those involved in this wonderful cultural exchange. We were joined by Edward who helped represent the school playing saxophone, including some French songs in his setlist and doing an excellent job of entertaining everyone.

The Languages leaders had a busy week last week- on Friday they welcomed some of the younger French Twinning Committee visitors into school, accompanied by Sarah from the Twinning committee. The Languages leaders ran a range of activities for our visitors, and some of our Year 7s who joined us to treat them to a very British game of rounders.

🎉Congratulations to our student Edward for his outstanding contributions to music last week. He participated in The Hereford Festival of Performing Arts and secured multiple Gold medals across different categories. He also impressed the crowd at Ludlow Brewery where he performed for the French Twinning visitors. Amazing Edward, well done 🎶
