Last week we gathered for a mini mindfulness session focused on this month's dinosaur, the Calmasaurus.
I started by asking the group what they believe "calm" means, and they responded with words like “breathing,” “peace,” and “quiet.”
Next, I asked them what they could see, and they mentioned “windows” and “pictures.” When I inquired about what they could feel, they answered with “knees” and “floor.” I went on to ask about what they could hear, and they responded with “telephone” and “wind.” Then, when I asked what they could smell, they said “food” and “air.”
Finally, I asked the group to share one thing that makes them feel amazing about themselves.
We heard some lovely responses, including “good tidier,” “washing up,” “French,” “bikes,” and “running.”
