Today I used a stone painting activity alongside talking therapy. While painting positive messages and symbols such as rainbows, hearts, and encouraging words, the client was able to talk openly in a relaxed and comfortable way while she was doing something she enjoyed doing. This activity helped promote discussion around hope, self-kindness, resilience, and self-worth. Using arts and crafts alongside conversation provided a creative outlet for expression and left the client with meaningful reminders of the positives that we both explored during the session. Arts and crafts isnt everyones cup of tea but this client really enjoys making things, painting, sticker arts ect.. this really help her reach her self worth! ❤️
